Zachary Boyd was an amazing sales man! This was by far the Best experience I have ever had with any car dealership. My wife and I drove 3 1/2 hours just because Zach was so easy-going and confident on the phone! He also did not give use the round about. We were in and out in less then an hour!!!!!

Would love to start with Robert in service department he is amazing parson and really know what he is doing and friendly Aby the mechanic give advice and will listen to questions and answer you with a lot of experience If you are in Tampa Bay Area and you have commercial truck they are special for that and they know what they doing I been in other ford dealer and the get me to the point I was planning to get something else other than ford truck but once I came to KARL FORD I feel they are there to help
The donuts and coffee were good while I waited for the service. No issues, just regular maintenance done without any problems. The price seemed reasonable for the what was done.

We bought our Expedition from another dealer in the region when we first relocated... we are very happy Tarpon has Karl Flammer Ford, they have been by far the best experience for Parts or Service. Called last weekend with a flat due to nail in the sidewall, Brian in service was able to get us in on saturday midday for two new tires and back out on the holiday weekend. All while under promising. The mobile service for recalls and maintenance has been awesome as well.

My wife and I recently bought a 2022 Bronco from Karl Flammer Ford and worked with Greg Hiland. He was low-pressure, professional, and genuinely fun to deal with. We joked and laughed through the whole process, but he stayed focused and made sure everything went smoothly. Greg really went out of his way to take care of my wife and I and made the car-buying experience enjoyable instead of stressful. He’s a great guy and a wonderful salesman. The dealership has that friendly, family-owned feel with no hard selling. They did offer a good warranty package which ultimately, I turned it down, but I still received a couple years of free oil changes which was a nice touch! If you’re in the market for a Ford, ask for Greg, you’ll be in very good hands!

Kat was so great at helping me with a mobile service for my truck! I've been having some issues with my truck and didn't have time to bring it in. I called to see if I could get someone to come out to my house to help and she went above and beyond to get me someone to not only help, but she also let me know about other issues my truck might have (F-150) and she made me feel so much better about getting someone to see what was wrong. Everything went so smooth with the axle issue (even with how long parts took to come in) and I didn't have to worry about work while my truck was being looked at!
Great, personalized customer service experience from Zack Boyd in sales, and on the business end with Suzanne Johnston. They both kept me informed and updated every step of the way. And I can't say enough about the fit and finish of my 2026 F150 Super cab. It was worth the wait on the custom build.

A representative from Karl Flammer Ford came to my home to check on a recall. He was very pleasant and checked my vehicle. Within 15 to 20 minutes everything was completed. My vehicle had no issues. I was very satisfied. And by the way, I absolutely love my 2017 Ford Expedition King Ranch. It’s like new with only around 36,000 miles!

Our older truck started going to the shop more than staying in our driveway, it was time for a new one. Lloyd sold us our last one. We called him up 2 hours later he found us a new truck at bargain basement price. In short, fair and honest place.

I brought my 2021 Ford F-150 in for a recall repair (rear axle replacement), and the experience with Karl Flammer Ford was excellent. The work was done professionally and with great quality — everything was handled exactly as expected, and I’m very satisfied with the service. They also provided me with a loaner truck at no cost during the recall, which I really appreciated — that made a big difference. Special thanks to Gatlin Hatcher — he was very professional, clear with communication, and gave me an accurate timeline. The team completed the work exactly within the timeframe he promised. He also went the extra mile and helped reset and fix some of my vehicle’s settings that got messed up — all without any extra charge. Very attentive and helpful. Overall, great experience, excellent customer service, and I highly recommend this dealership.

I had a service appointment and expected that my vehicle would be picked up and taken to the dealership. Instead the service was actually performed at my home. The mechanic was extremely professional and was detailed with the service and the information he provided about my vehicle. Took less than 60 minutes. I can not even begin to say enough positive things about this service. I’ve been using Karl Flammer Ford for service for about a year and they have exceeded expectations each time. Great dealership, above a five star service.

Dejected by visiting numerous subpar Tampa area dealerships with vehicles that looked like they were parked in a field and still wanting top dollar for their cars we tried one last place, Karl Flammer Ford. This was a cold call. At the end of a very long Tuesday and close to closing time, we stumbled in and were greeted with a smile and a handshake from Greg Hiland. Greg along with Sales Manager Alex Vandervort took care of my wife and I from start to finish. Karl Flammer Ford is a family business and it shows. I have always had an great experience at this dealership, Karl Flammer Ford, Tarpon Springs. Right from driving onto the property and being greeted, to dealing with Ronin Brandl, my service advisor. She has been so patient with any inquiries that l have had with my vehicle and also bringing up recalls that l may not even have been aware of. Their dealership is spotless and waiting room a very comfortable place to wait while repairs are being done. We purchased our son’s first vehicle at this dealership. The process was very easy and quick! Our sales guy, Jordan, was awesome! He had the vehicle pulled up and ready for us. He was very professional and easy to deal with. We mentioned that we were Tampa Bay Lightning fans and he gave us a Lightning license plate holder. Fantastic customer service! The finance guy, Lucas, was also very quick and not pushy which was appreciated. Overall great experience.

It was time for an oil change and tire rotation on my truck, so I called Karl Flammer Ford to schedule. The representative who scheduled my appointment was extremely friendly and helpful in coordinating a time for the mobile service crew to come to my home. Mario and Chris S arrived right on time (provided a 15-minute courtesy call in advance) and completed the required services in a professional and efficient manner. I can honestly say that this was one of the best auto service experiences I have ever had. I would certainly recommend the mobile service from Karl Flammer for anyone who needs routine work performed on their Ford.

Great and timely service
First, let me start with my problem, then why I gave 5 stars and a stellar review. I took my truck in to have a Ford branded hard, flip back bed cover for my 2023 F-250. I’ve had many bed covers on my Ford trucks over the years, from remote retractable to roller 4x4 style. This Ford cover is the bomb!! While there, I asked Rob Bender to check out the adaptive cruise control (Blue cruise) as it was applying the brakes and displaying a lower, sometimes MUCH lower, speed zone than the actual. This was creating a crash hazard, especially on the interstate where it would go from 70 mph to 35 mph immediately. Rob recreated the scenario and would not release the truck to me after the bed cover was installed as he said he wouldn’t have me driving in this serious situation. Long story short, the camera with this system actually reads speed zone signs!! It would read the speed zone correctly as 45 mph, but then when the adjacent bike path had a 20 mph sign posted, it would read that and apply the brakes to immediately slow me down. The fix was to turn the speed zone reading camera off. While this is a temporary fix, I know that Ford will find a software or firmware fix for it. I’ve already seen an update where it would automatically slow me down in a school zone without warning. Now, it gives a tone and flashes “Speed Zone” on the screen. Great work, Ford. Go Karl Flammer Ford or go home!!

Quick efficient service
I have nothing but great things about the team that work at Karl Flammer Ford. I came in to buy a car last week and it was such an easy process, our sales rep Joe Ryndak was absolutely amazing. He walked us through the whole process and went above and beyond. Also Lucas and Mack were wonderful. We actually came back a week later to buy another vehicle from them an again Joe and team did a great job. Highly recommend buying your next vehicle with them.

There was a recall on my 2018 Ford Explorer. I contacted them, and they got me in on Saturday, February 28th!!! It took them approximately 2 hours… They got the car in on a very timely basis. They said it would take 4-5 hours, but they got me out on a timely basis… They kept me informed the entire time.

From the moment I drove into the service center, I received the best service! Rachel was an amazing advisor and helped resolve a situation that I had been dealing with for a while (another dealership). I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I received a ride to work, I was communicated with and my car was delivered! I am quite happy with my treatment. Best of all, my car was finally repaired correctly!
I went to Flammer Ford because they had the truck package I was looking for. My salesperson Ruben showed me several trucks of my interest and went on a test drive. I returned the next day to go over the numbers and couldn’t have been happier with all folks involved at Flammer to close the deal. I will definitely return to Flammer for any future purchases. It should also be said , I live 2 miles from one Ford dealer and passed a couple more to get to Flammer.

I am very pleased with my service advisor Mark Niquette. He took the time and listened to my unique issue that I had with my truck not starting properly and got the service technician to look and listen to the videos I took trying to explain the issue. They were very helpful and understanding and took the time it takes to figur this out. They were able to pinpoint the problem to faulty fuel injectors and took care of the problem . I am very happy with Karl Flammer team and will recommend them to my friends and clients.

Like others have said, buying a car can be a bit stressful but they really made me feel as ease and they didn’t put pressure on me. Steve, the financial manager was also very nice and helpful. Some circumstances led to us coming to Town on a day that Rick was on vacation, but he said he’d work that out, then we actually ended up arriving at a time when the dealership was closed. Despite Rick being on vacation that day and the dealership closed, he gladly came in and made it all work out, so on top of everything else going very smoothly, that was really above and beyond helpful.

I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic inspection and ended up needing a complete transmission replacement. Chris at ford was my advisor during this process that elapsed about weeks start to finish. Chris was very helpful during this time and provided updates when they were available and kept his word throughout the process. When it came time to get my vehicle back he thoroughly went through and explained everything that was wrong and what they repaired and how much out of pocket I would be after warranty, Chris even kept his word when he told me he will try and get me a discount on the rental since this is was a long and stressful process. I will bring my vehicle back to this ford dealer and will continue to work with them in the future!

The engine light to my f150 came on so I took it in to be serviced. The service advisor (Robyn Brandl) informed me that I would have to leave it over night as my truck had to be put on a machine that would evaluate the problem and it takes 24 to 48 hours to complete the tests! She called me the next day informing me what the problems were and after I agreed with the work that they had to perform I had my truck back by late afternoon. Robyn was upfront and very professional with me from beginning to end! Very refreshing in todays world!

After going to other dealerships for service and buying, I took a drive up to here just to try different places since I was never happy at the previous ones. Honestly, wow! Kudos to the Flammer family for maintaining that personal feel that had been long lost by Tampa dealerships.

Fantastic service personnel. Christian went above and beyond all expectations. Service was fast from start to finish, prices were very fair, and communication was better than my previous dealer. I’d highly recommend their service department to anyone. The one negative I will point out is their parts department is expensive, but the employee is nice and was happy to provide the information I needed to find it cheaper. In this day and age where plastic parts are regularly needed, I didn’t expect to see them go well over MSRP. Most dealers go 20-30% below MSRP to keep competitive.

I pre-ordered Ford maverick with Karl Flammer Ford last September 2022 due to constraints the order finally came in October 2023. I recently visited Karl Flammer Ford for an oil change. I was traveling and needed to get the oil change. I called Karl Flammer Ford and was given an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival I was greeted at my vehicle which the employee checked me in, then took me to the waiting room advising of free coffee and information of where the restrooms were located at. I was kept updated on the status of my vehicle then when she was ready the employee took me to check out and walked me to my vehicle making sure all was good and I was happy with the service. When I come back to visit family and need any service for my Ford vehicle I plan on visiting Karl Flammer, I did not purchase my vehicle here but was treated like I did. Excellent service

The dreaded yellow check engine light came on yesterday and there are 5 errors according to the Ford App. Went to Joe Hall Ford at 7:45 AM this morning to get it fixed. Seems they have no techs on Saturday, just oil and lube guy. “Sorry and best of luck to you”. I hope to get it fixed when I get to Helena, Montana. I miss Karl Flammer Ford.

Flammer Ford was able to fit me in the very next day and set up a rental vehicle for me. I had originally called the Ford Dealer that’s near my house, but they were pretty rude and could not make an appointment for nearly a month plus they would not be able to get me a rental either. Everyone at Flammer Ford is very courteous, and they fixed the problem in my truck to my satisfaction.
Service Consultant Dale has always provided great service. Waiting room is modern and clean. They may want to update the programmingnon the television. Watching Price is Right from the late 90s is a little tough to deal with.

Purchased a New 2021 Explorer and just took it in for my first oil change, tire rotation and check-up. Josh, my Service Rep was awesome and I was out with-in an hour. Brought vehicle in over the weekend night drop. Robyn Kraholick Brandel was my service advisor. I was doing a night drop off off on sunday when they were closed and where you use to do a night drop if gates were closed was no longer there do to the road county put in. So I didn’t want to bother Robyn especially on her weekend off. But needed to make sure I dropped off in right spot. She answered and was extremely helpful. He is why I continue to come to Karl Flammer Ford for service after being ignored by all of management about a warranty issue that I was told by Port Richey Ford was supposed to be covered by my extended warranty, but the company would not honor it. This was a $700 repair that Ford refused to cover and because of this , it may cost them $30,000.00 as I probably won't by my next new car there based on the principle of they did not do the right thing. Karl Flammer Ford is the ONLY place I buy my vehicles from. Every vehicle I've owned since being able to drive at 16 has been purchased or leased from this dealership. I needed a new truck for my upholstery business in Holiday, so I bought a 2021 Ranger from their new commercial side. This was in the first quarter of 2022 and everything has been top notch the entire time. From the quick and responsive service advisors to the polite and NON-PUSHY sales guys, I have been more than please throughout the years with many more to come... And if you want a reference for who to speak for the BEST customer service, you need to either see Rob Bender in the commercial service side or David Kaiser from the commercial sales side.... OR se Christian or Art in service on the retail side... you will be ultimately pleased throughout the entire process of making your choice on your next vehicle.
I live in St. Petersburg but was introduced to Karl Flammer Ford a few years ago when I was working with a local agency (Vers Creative). After interacting with their staff numerous times, I knew if I ever wanted to get a Ford I would come here. I knew I wanted a Bronco, but with the supply issues I also knew it could take a while. So I put a deposit down in March 2022 before they stopped taking orders. I worked with Chris Haddad who is so kind and was great from beginning to end. He made the entire process easy with no pressure. He let me know at the very beginning based on demand I could be waiting over a year unless I’m “lucky”. Turns out I’m one of the few to get such a quick turnaround! Since my time to save got cut quite a bit, I did have to finance. I met with Suzanne who helped crunch numbers and walked me through everything . She’s very kind. The only unfortunate thing is the interest rate is high. I was in and out probably within an hour. Chris went and filled up the car for me and they detailed it before I got it. He also helped walk me through the app and setting up the car with my phone. He gave me a good detailed run down with my vehicle. As someone who has mostly used and older cars up to this point, I’m in LOVE!!! If we decide to get another Ford we will definitely come back! p.s. If you decide to put a deposit down to build one, it is refundable (not all dealers do this).
Christian was extremely helpful in the process. He took notes of all the comments I had on the car and reviewed them with technician. One suggestion I have is to possibly introduce text updates in the process. Once the car is received I received a text but it would be useful to know for instance when the technician started working on the car, or when the process is done and the paperwork is being completed etc. This allows the customer to know exactly what is happening in the process instead of calling the representative to know the status. Aside from that suggestion the service was amazing even with a shuttle to and from my house to the dealer.

I had some warranty repair issues. The dealership where I bought the car has been very disappointing. Karl Flammer and their techs were very helpful. The service was good, thoroughly explained and the work was done well. Admittedly, as with any dealership, the prices were high and labor rates were even higher than I expected. But we all know the price you pay to have the dealership do your work. I like the service and the people at Karl Flammer. It is also very clear they hire veterans as I saw many veteran hats on some of the staff and I heard several discussing their service. I will likely buy my next car from Karl Flammer.

A good experience. Amy and Mike were the people that assisted. Amy was particularly great--she listened carefully to my concern & then read me back what she'd written in the dispatch so I could confirm. I liked that Mike checked me in calling out the VIN# with the military words for each letter of the alphabet. He was patient while I transferred some things out of my car to my friend's car--who was picking me up. The temporary Service drop-off was a little confusing. How about a sign? It could say: STOP HERE!

It was easy contacting the Service Department to get an appointment. When I arrived, Dale was friendly and helpful checking me in for the service. The most important part is it was QUICK! Was having running boards installed on a brand new truck that didn't come with them. Purchased the boards and labor cost online the day before and the were able to get the boards in and installed the next morning. I was at the the dealership for less than 30 minutes for the install! The salesman I dealt with, Floyd, was so helpful and answered all of my questions by demonstrating how to use the electronics on the car I bought. The finance lady, Suzanne, was kind and gracious and patient and answered all of my questions. The two year extended warranty that I purchased was a great deal for my situation. I definitely recommend this dealership and will use them again if I purchase another car.
Service was great from drop off to pickup the only concern I have that the price on a oil change and tire rotation went up over 100.00 from $144 close to $250.00.

Good communication with my rep, Robyn but they made a big mistake recording my mileage. Added 10k miles by mistake. Noticed and now they have to fix it. Their drop off and pick up worked out beautiful.

OK after a bit of a rocky start I met with Jason their sales manager and Grant Flammer their GM. Thank you to Doug G. for setting up this meeting. They are a family owned Dealership that appreciated me keeping my business locally and worked to make things right. Hopefully we are off to a good start on a mutually productive relationship.

I purchased my car here almost three years ago. It was a mostly smooth process. I worked with Peyton on my last service visit. She did a great job helping me get my car fixed. The only reason I took a star off is I bought a “bumper to bumper” warranty from this dealership when I bought the car. They did not honor that warranty for this repair because there are exclusions in the fine print. My exclusions included the suspension. I want to give them 1 star for lying about the bumper-to-bumper warranty. However, that is my fault for not reading the fine print. I have met and dealt with plenty of honest salespeople throughout the years. I have yet to deal with an honest finance manager. So please read the fine print, assume they are adding points, assume what comes out of their mouth is not entirely true.
The manager just tried to push us to get all of the extended warranty, which, we told him at start that we didn’t want them. And, the salesman didn’t show me how to actually set things up in the car. He was too busy downloading a map on my phone, and setting up the radio. And, he didn’t know that the map in the car actually does work. I’m having to look up how to do things.
Purchased my vehicle my salesman was extremely good and helpful getting through te whole process and he said if I had any questions that I could call him for help,hats where the whole thing fell apart he ould not return phone calls even after speaking to him in person and being told he would call back with an answer but he never did finally I had to drive to the dealership to get help

Took 13 working days a bunch of stories and still no real idea of work done to repair. Truck starter worked but wouldn’t start. Dale, man who checked us out was good helpful guy. Chad made it sound like a run around and wasn’t there when picked up Truck.
I chose Karl Flammer Ford because it was the only dealership in the area with a decent price on a used F-150 Lariat. My main interactions were with salesman Doug Gerhardt, and unfortunately, the family friendly, locally owned charm doesn't come through with him. Doug was friendly up until we started to work out a deal on the truck. My wife and I fought hard to ensure we got a fair price on this vehicle. We spent one day at the dealership and ended up leaving without making that deal. Doug never touched base after we left. His communication skills over the phone and text are not good. He was rude and as I saw in other reviews, took the enjoyment out of the process. Buying a new vehicle, especially the vehicle you've always wanted, should be an exciting process. With Doug, it wasn't. Also, with a tough work schedule, it wasn't the easiest to get to Tarpon Springs, an hour from where I live. During the process, Doug tells me that he will be going out of town, delaying the car purchase by another week. That was only after I signed to hold the truck until I could come in. I went out of my way to make time to come in on a weekday and the only thing I asked was that this deal be done and everything ready to go when I got in. To his credit, it was. However, Doug treated this like some sort of command, answering the phone, "You rang", like I was bothering him with another request. When I arrived on Friday, Doug was friendly and cordial. How could he not be, he was selling a truck. However, Doug never made me feel like him or Karl Flammer Ford were thankful for my business. (There was never anyone in the showroom or with others sales people all three times I was there so you think they would be). On my final visit to the dealership, Doug was less than friendly or welcoming. I was back to get a spray-in bed liner for my truck, something that was included in our deal for the purchase price but something they could not include when I took receipt of the vehicle. I arrived at 9am. Doug told me the spray-in liner process could take 4-5 hours. Kyle in the accessories department was super friendly and he told me it would take about 3-4 hours. I figured I would be out of there by 12pm, 1pm at the latest. The entire process ended up taking 7 hours. I sat in the main showroom of Karl Flammer Ford for 7 hours, 9am to 3:45pm, and was not offered anything. The snack machines have card readers but they didn’t work. About 5 hours in, one salesman offered me a bottle of water. No shuttle or offers to take me somewhere to get food. That would have required them acknowledging I was in building. Even the multiple salesman standing around complaining about how slow it was couldn’t be bothered to start a conversation when I tried. I did not feel welcomed. To make matters worse, the spray-in bed liner was not done professionally. There are mistakes and overspray that look like a sloppy job. A few days after this service, Karl Flammer Ford called to see how it went. I was honest and candid with the woman who called. She said someone would be calling me back to address the situation. I’m still waiting for that call back. It’s been over a week. In the end, I couldn't care less where I buy a vehicle. Maybe that’s why the people I encountered at Karl Flammer Ford don’t care about being personable and professional. They knew I would likely not be back anyway. I’ll go where I can find the vehicle I want. I'd say if Karl Flammer Ford has the vehicle you are looking for, check them out but know that if Doug is your salesman, you're just a number and another sale.
Good experience after we negotiated a price. There was a $3,000 difference from advertised price on internet. Was not expecting that.
Service and advisor did well. Give that a 4 or 5. The invoice included parts, labors sales tax and SHOP Supplies. Other Ford dealerships don’t do that. I got same tire from Bill Currie Ford on 2/2022 for $10 less (which is understandable) but they didn’t add SHOP SUPPLIES to the bill. I’ll take my truck there from now on.
Service advisor Muhammad should absolutely be unemployed. Literally walked away, sat at desk and stared at computer pretending to not hear words spoken literally 3 feet away. Fortunately the other service advisors there are all great, but if you happen to be unlucky enough to get this guy, just ask for someone else.
Actual cost came in $1000 over the estimate that I was given.
Paid $38,000 for a vehicle and after finishing financing I was handed one nice FOB for truck and second FOB was wrapped up. Upon unwrapping I see FOB is physically BROKEN. Call salesman next day and he dismisses it as that is how previous owners turned it in. For $38000 they could give fully functional fobs. Really tarnished the sale experiences
Easy to schedule appointments. They took me on time and handled all my issues with courtesy. I'm updating my review after my last visit. I waited too long for a service advisor. The final price was higher than agreed and it took too long to get it corrected. They had my car for almost two days then called with an apology and suggested I bring my car back another time. The b.s. about being short staffed was repeated multiple times. My phone call to service manager was never answered. I did get service after I left a message for the manager but it took three calls to get to him.
Karl Flammer Ford is my go to service dealer. They provide excellent Mobile service for everyday maintenance needs. The drivers and technicians are always pleasant and polite. Communication during service events is also excellent. Keep up the good work and customer service!
Love my Bronco — but post-sales support at Karl Flammer Ford has been a letdown. When I purchased my certified Gold 2023 Bronco, I was told by the salesperson the OEM hard top would arrive and be available to be installed within 10 days because it was “sitting in a warehouse in Orlando.” A month later, it’s still unavailable. The manufacturer says it’s ready, but the dealer claims “they don’t have containers” to ship it. Meanwhile, my first Ford Credit payment is due, which includes the cost of that hard top. The real issue isn’t the delay — it’s the lack of true customer service in the selling process. Aside from one helpful parts attendant who’s at least tried to keep me informed, no one at the dealership has taken ownership or shown initiative to resolve the problem. There’s been no follow-up, no escalation, and no sense of accountability. To make matters worse, the Bronco was missing covers where the soft top bolts into the frame and a tonneau cover that was advertised as included. Those details may seem small, but they reflect poor attention to detail and weak after-sales follow up care from the sales person. Including, little or no timely communication from him. I’ve received several “please rate us 5 stars” requests, but this experience doesn’t earn that. Two stars go only to the parts attendant who’s doing his best in a bad situation. 11/14 Update: Other than a missed call after someone posted that “management would be contacting me, I did not officially hear from the dealer.” Lucky for me and my wife, we stumbled on Cody in parts. He definitely treats his customers professionally, delivers bad new timely, and I believe advocated for us when the sales department remained silent. Cody kept us up to date and when it finally shipped was on top of that as well. It arrived at the dealer on 11/11, just 2 days shy of when the salesperson promised it would be available for installation. Chris in Accessories did a great job with it and communicating the process and timing along with updates throughout the installation process. The Service advisor that we used, Gaitlin, for other unrelated service items did a great job as well. A moment on the service experience. Parts, Accessories, and Service all receive 5-stars from us. Which, when you think about it, is the most important aspect of buying a vehicle from a dealer. The phrase “buyer beware” was coined, I imagine, because of the used car salesperson mentality of say anything. Luckily, the after sales support team is top notch. I won’t purchase my wife’s Bronco from this dealer, but because of Cody, Chris, and Gaitlin, definitely will take it there for service. Thank you gentlemen!

These people are another example of the greed that is destroying Our economy going to lease a bronco from them. I actually had some numbers from a few different dealers came across. There’s I got some numbers from them. I was hitting around 550 or 560 a month to lease a $60,000 bronco with 12 K down they wanted $208 more a month! Would’ve been about $8000 more pure greed stay away from these clowns

I was happy with my oil change and tire rotation and especially the drop off service. I was not happy to be told that I needed new rear rotors and pads, looking at the documentation from June till now this was not noticed. Upon further inspection the current statement says both my tires and rear brake pads are close, so which is it? No mention was even made on my tires. This truck is 4.5 years old the tread are still well within wear life. One tire was also replaced this year after a flat. 32,000 miles most of from moving 4 times from Illinois to Tennessee to Tampa, so I am surprised that the pads or the brakes are even close. Quality is certainly not what it used to be. I will be getting a tire and brake inspection elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. What I should have been told is my rear brake pads are getting close would you like them replaced today?
The service team there is absolutely terrible. Nothing but rude and disrespectful. My company bought a fleet of vehicles from them. Trucks are only 3 years old and they're in the shop non stop. Was in there recently to get a truck fixed and instead of offering me the courtesy ride back to my company, I had to Uber home after I was rudely told they had no rentals and they had to be reserved. But the day before I was told they don't reserve them, it's first come first serve.. Then I was told they had a rental ready and I show up and no one had a clue. Absolutely 💯 Terrible customer service and I will NEVER Agicd them my personal business. I only deal with them because of work. Stay far away from Ford as possible. It is a terrible brand of cars a trucks that break every other month.
No communication, stranded carless with no updates, they tell you they're waiting to hear from "the tech" who is only 20 yards away.
Robyn in service was great, as was the courtesy shuttle driver. The actual mechanics/service seemed, less so. My car's rear window had a split/de-lamination which I reported. The warranty and mechanics deemed that scratches caused it, even though there was no actual point of impact from a rock or anything else hitting it. I brought it to another dealership for a second opinion and they had no issues warranteeing it. Another issue I had was that your service told me I needed a new cabin air filter even though I had it changed with my last oil change and usually that is about every 15,000 miles not every 5... The work done seems fine, but doubt I'll be back.
Took in for a regular maintenance was told I had a shock that was leaking but they would not cover it under my warranty not a happy camper took it to two other places both couldn't believe they didn't cover it I did purchase new ones and put them on so I'm not very happy with flammer Ford might be the last car I buy there I have about six and I'm getting ready to buy another F-150 after all these years of being a loyal customer I think it has come to an end
I’ve gone in 3 or 4 times for the same issue and still have the same issue. They were supposed to replace the part, it looks like they never did because the problems are the same. My service advisor is nice. Yet there is a discrepancy in service between what happens and what is supposed to happen. Spoke with Service Manager on Saturday about lack of results. Waiting to hear back Monday, if they have the part and will fix it within my time frame before my road trip on Friday. Very frustrating and time consuming.
Was told my Premium care warranty didn't cover keys. Paid bill of $181, told 1 key is bad. Did research and keys for the PATS system ARE covered. Went back to discuss w /Christian. Realized on way back vehicle WAS NOT repaired! Now it's back in and I have loaner. This vehicle is a lemon. 2013 Edge 2.0 ecoboost SEL. Transmission was rebuilt at Jarrett a month after purchase after we took it on a road trip at highway speeds. Sold to us as a "Ford Certified Pre-owned Vehicle". What a joke. Turbocharger was junk right after we bought it from Jarrett Ford in Dade City in 2018. Drove it for months and keep wondering why it had such terrible power. Flamer replaced it and wastegate. Good there. Since then it's been heater core, a/c evaporator, and nav system issues. All serviced at Flamer. A/C evap repair resulted in getting vehicle back w/parts missing, factory screws replaced with "whatever the tech had laying around" I suppose. Made appointment w/service manager Rob to review this. He told me to come in mid afternoon next day. Got there at a little before 4pm. He was gone for the day as was the person that covers for him. A week ago I found a screw on the floor from the dashboard area. Now it's having key/starting system issues. Read out on the screen when shutting vehicle off that says "system off to save battery, please shut ignition off or restart vehicle " THE IGNITION WAS OFF! THIS WAS WITH THE GOOD KEY. All this within a 50k mile range. I went to Brad in sales for an estimate of trade in value. This vehicle is low mileage and very good condition. He told me $5k. KBB shows trade value range of $5300-6900! These are selling on the used market for $12k ish. KBB private party value is $7500-9600 as of today. Can someone tell me why I would ever buy another Ford and why I should by it from Flamer???? On the positive side, Dale, Robyn, and most recently Christian, have been very helpful with the only exception being Dale didn't believe me when I told him my lower engine cover was missing after having the evap unit replaced. Thank you Christian for taking care of that. As of 2/13/23 this dealership has been unable to repair my 2013 Ford edge. After having it for 2 weeks, they had me pick it up- all fixed they assured me. 2 blocks to home. Shut it off. WOULDN'T RESTART. Going on 2 more weeks. If I didn't have the Premium care extended warranty, I would be seeking a dealership that could handle this. And still may. I do have a loaner, and am grateful for that.
Had an 11am appt for an oil change/ rotate. Price was never discussed, wait time was never provided, shuttle was not offered, truck didn't get in until 2pm. Having worked at a dealership 20+ years, I understood when the writer finally explained to me personnel shortages and emergencies/ problems but communication/ scheduling here needs work. Driving home, I noticed a scraping sound in the front, found the under engine shield had not been properly reattached and it was dragging on the ground! There are bolts missing and there is oil all over the filter and pan. Nothing was cleaned off but I was charged $6.80 for shop supplies. A little spray of brake cleaner and a wipe with a shop rag goes a long way. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dealer for anything. Cheers to the porters and gentlemen that greeted me though. They were very courteous, professional and attentive.
Went in for oil change with 9:15 appointment. Left 4 hours and 15 minutes later. I've been a customer for over 10 years and never had this kind of experience. Seems shortage of trained personnel and new computer and facility upgrades have everything in turmoil. I won't abandon them yet but hope they can get things straightened out. Would rather have had appointment rescheduled than wait 4 hours. My service rep, Amy was great and I know she did all she could to keep me informed. Was contacted by Jacob in Customer Relations and given a credit toward my next service for my trouble. They have just opened the new facility this week and are working to get everything back on track. I was also informed that they are starting a mobile service that will come to my house and perform the service that I used to have to come to the facility to have done. Sounds like a great customer service addition. Will definitely try them again. Thanks Jacob
I took my F350 in for service on Saturday 10/16 and dropped it off. I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and the recall on the front camera. Everything went good, went to pick it up and the parts had to be ordered for the recall. No big deal. Christian said I could come in on the next Saturday morning and get it knocked out. Then he said if I could get there by 5 on Friday, come in and get it knocked out. I showed up at 4:50 to get it done. The other service writer, Rob, said I would have to leave it because they close at 5. I told him Christian said it would get done. Christian was on the phone at this time. So Rob said he was leaving it to Christian and proceeded to close the doors to the garage. Christian got off the phone long enough to tell me that he didn’t say any of this and they were closing. I don’t mind bringing it in on a Saturday, just don’t tell me to bring it a different day and then deny telling me. This is poor service. This is also the commercial service. I will be going somewhere else for my service work. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the oil change and tire rotation even though I had to go back after I picked it up to have the air in my tires adjusted because the low air pressure light came on after I drive off.
I am very disappointed with repairs made on my 2002 T Bird. On August 25, 2022 I brought my T Bird in with 14,869 miles and had the power steering pump replaced. On September 6, 2022 I paid Flammer Ford a total cost of $2,145.73. The technician was Jacob Myers. My car just turned 21,001 miles and I had to have this replaced again. My mechanic replaced the unit with a Ford pump. He stated the part Flammer installed was an after market. I can't confirm that, I am not a mechanic. I had my mechanic change the oil, flush out all fluids, replace the power steering unit and rotate the tires. Total cost $1,100. What a difference in cost!! And shouldn't power steering units last longer than 4 years 7 months?? I am not happy with Karl Flammer Ford service.
Poor customer service on the commercial service side at Karl Flammer Ford. After having my vehicle for 7 hours I had to call them to learn nothing was done, so if management wants details they can speak with their own service advisor Erick because I’m not wasting any more time with them.
Dealership doesn’t believe in returning phone calls, even the service manager doesn’t return them. Had a Friday morning appointment luckily I was able to leave it cause they didn’t even look at it until Tuesday. Got burned twice not being picked up with the courtesy shuttle. But apparently this dealership doesn’t care cause I’m not the only one who has complained so why am I doing this survey?
Came in to look at a used vehicle on the lot as a first-time buyer, had to twist their arm to even answer the questions I had about the vehicle's accident/maintenance history (still trying to get the history of the car after three weeks). Baited and switched me on the financing (classic dealership move). Mentioned early on that my preferred bank and as led to believe it wouldn't be an issue. Finalized numbers and then was told they couldn't accept my bank (should've just left then). Was in a hurry to be somewhere so I asked if the final paperwork could be done online at a later date and I could pick up the car the following week and was told an emphatic "we can't do anything online" which I find hard to believe in the year 2025. Got to the finance office and the APR their in-house financing could only offer me something a whole point higher than my original approval APR. Was whole-heartedly assured that I could refinance at my original APR rate with absolutely no problem and that people do it all the time (once, again, shouldn't have listened to them). After having to wait days between texts (after purchase) from my salesman to get bank/loan info from the dealership, I've now been told by my bank that they in fact cannot offer me my original APR rate as it is now a different type of loan application and is no longer qualified for the original rate. After being assured that the interior and exterior of the car would be detailed between test drive and driving the car off of the lot, my best guess is that they rinsed the outside off because I had to fully clean the inside of the car myself the next day. The previous "detailing" had left some kind of cleaning gunk all over the interior (still finding more spots that weren't actually cleaned off). Furthermore, after driving the car around for a few days I heard a rattling from the back hatch and after pulling off part of the body work I found a whole washer/nut just rolling around in the door. The best part is that I couldn't even reach where it should've been with my arm (small opening) so here's to hoping it isn't important! The car also has an aftermarket muffler welded on that I didn't notice at first (first time buyer that assumed Certified would mean entirely stock) and that the dealership entirely failed to mention. We were never able to get up to real highway speed which is probably why I didn't notice it on the test drive. Should I have seen the red flags? Yes. But I liked the car, and it was/is Blue Certified, so surely it won't have any problems, right?? I hope so, but I'm not too confident.
I bought a 2021 Pacifica that was qualified for the Clean Vehicle used car tax credit and they didn't provide the IRS with the registration papers. The IRS would not accept the credit. When I emailed them about it around 10 times, they still haven't sent in the registration. Very burocratic. I won't give up. I may have to take them to court.
Been going there for decades. No more! My truck was having issues shifting slow hard bogging down etc. so I went to my dealer who I’ve trust for a long time. Got a call the next day and was told I need a new rebuilt transmission. Price $6300. That tranny was already rebuilt by them and only had 20k on it. I needed a 2nd option so I had it towed to a very trusted shop by me. They called me next day that it would start but running rough and it was now throwing codes. They replaced fuel pump module , both 02 sensors and cleaned the # 1 injector that was causing the misfire. Problem fixed….$700. Not a new tranny for 6300. Karl Flammer Ford service are a bunch of lying money stealing thieves.
i purchased a car from them after i found out that 3 of the lires had slow leaks and i has a rip in the side wall plus when changing the hub caps i found 2 dented wheels and the 1 tire holding air is full of fix a flat.I comtacted the dealer and spoke with the sales mgr len he was going to talk with his boss and get back 2 me ,it has been 4 weeks and no reply and i am out $1500 to fix the problems. BUYER BEWARE,So they replied and said they would reach out to me,I am still waiting a week laterI was called and offered $350 3 weeks ago yet it never arived ,why would I expect it to
I don’t like to blast companies on review sites, but I received a text to take a short survey and it brought me to a Google review. I went the extra step to call over to the dealership a few minutes ago before posting, but my call was not answered, so here I go: My husband had a car in mind prior to getting to the dealership. He test drove it and decided to buy. He called me and I immediately met him there to help with the purchase of the vehicle. I had a specific question about the car and the salesperson blew me off. Went inside to process the paperwork. I was already approved with a loan in hand from my bank. The salesperson was clearly annoyed that I wanted to use my own bank but their own financing team said that they couldn’t improve upon the terms of my loan. He said I would have to pay a $500 deposit until the EFT went through (although the financing team didn’t ask for $500 and I was able to go without paying it so not sure if that was an empty threat or ???) This dealership clearly does not want to work with anyone with outside financing. After handling the preliminary paperwork, I asked again about my specific car question. The salesperson blew me off a second and third time. Wasn’t able to take the car home right away because they wanted to make sure the EFT went through (first time ever!) Came back a few days later to pick up the car. Went through the paperwork and every single document that discussed a warranty was not “checked” appropriately. I had to ask them to check the warranty boxes before I signed. I was presented a random print out of recalls for our vehicle and asked to sign on a handwritten signature line with no clear explanation of what I was signing? I inquired and the sales person also didn't know what I was signing and gave me the run around. He brought someone to the desk from the service center to verbally tell me that there were no active recalls on the vehicle, but neither of them could tell me what I was signing? After refusing to sign it, he tossed the paper aside and said I didn’t need to sign it?? I had the vehicle inspection list and I asked to look at the car with the checklist. The salesperson said he would follow me out to review with me. I again asked about the question specific to my car and he said, “You know you are buying a used car, right?” Of course I understood this. My frustration was asking the question multiple times and his inability to give me a straight answer and he kept saying “he couldn’t see it.” We finished the transaction of the car and he again said that he couldn’t see the issue and I said, “Respectully, I disagree.” At that point, our transaction was over. I have never had to argue with someone so much to buy something. We could have been in and out. I wouldn’t recommend using this dealership if you want to use your own financing or if you want to feel as if you aren’t being taken advantage of. Again, I tried calling the dealership after receiving this request to complete a Google survey so I could give feedback privately. Also looked for an email address on their website, but didn’t see one.
"Lack of common sence " "My experience at this dealership was completely unacceptable. I had found the perfect car and was on my way to finalize the buy. I had already been in discussions with the salesperson and the finance manager, However, when I arrived at the dealership to finalize the purchase, they made me wait for over half an hour.To my shock, I found out they were showing the car to another customer who had just wandered in, with no guarantee they were even serious about buying it. The salesman were in shock about their manager lack of ethics who allows this situation to happen, knowing that I was on my way..It was a total waste of my time and showed a complete lack of respect for me as a customer.This kind of treatment is unprofessional and unethical. They clearly have no problem stringing you along if they think they can get a better deal from someone else."
My daughter had a flat tire this morning and pulled over in the dealership. She went to the service department for help and they told her they weren't open yet. There was open Bay doors with mechanics standing around. What kind of people don't help a young women with a car issue. She was willing to pay them.

I took my vehicle in for repairs and they disconnected my battery once reinstalled they didn’t tighten the negative cable side of the battery and caused me additional expenses to replace my battery less than a month later. Neither Chad nor the service manager has addressed my concerns although I provided them with all the requested documentation. I would like to be reimbursed for their error and I am hearing nothing but crickets. Chad says that he has been out on family emergencies and he was already fired one time from this dealership. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
I would not recommend this dealer. My cousin Mario Crumity purchased a 2023 Ford XLT-F150 from Karl Flammer Ford around June 13, 2024 (in Tarpon Springs, FL). His dream was to have a Ford pickup. As a Father's Day gift to myself he went to this dealership with daughters to get this truck. The truck started having issues within the first week so he called & went to the dealer & was told no codes were coming up. He explained to Josh & Jason the truck was hesitating, vibrating, jerking, when the air is on the entire seat, pedal, and mirror was shakes. They advised him to just drive it because it has been sitting for a while and fill it with gas. He did that. A week later he returned because it was not getting better. He spoke with Eric in service and he stated these trucks idle rough which is not true because this truck was brand new with only 14,000 miles only as it was just a loner. Eric sat in his truck & stated from personal experience it should not be doing this & is rougher than others.. He said he contacted the manufacturer himself to explain the issue. My cousin was stranded for about 4 days with no vehicle and had to carpool to work because no loaners were ever available. He was called to come get hid truck but it was still doing the same thing, this time they sent me home in a loaner. He was in about 5 loaners for a total of about 3.5 to 4 weeks and none of these loaners had the same issues as his truck. He and the dealer were almost like co-owners. They had the truck really longer than he did. All of the loaners were brand new F150's like his. He mentioned this to the sales manager (Jason) & asked can he just swap out for a different truck or upgrade to a 2024 because this is not normal for a brand new truck. Jason & Josh said he can trade it in but it depreciated since he drove it. That was not his fault since because they told him to drive it instead of taking it from the beginning. We called corporate due to being told after 3 unsuccessful repairs he can qualify for the buyback program. He was denied & not sure why because my vehicle has been attempted to be repaired more than 3 times. He is now on his 5th new attempt as they have the vehicle right now AGAIN. I have a 2019 Lincoln and has never (knock on wood) had to send my car for repairs yet. He need help getting out of this truck. Horrible 1st experience getting a brand new vehicle. This is so unprofessional of them and not fair. He even tried to call the owner's son Grant and left a message & sent an email, and he has not called back or emailed still yet. Bad business!
wasted my time with a trade in on a new truck stated its would be 5-7k ish in trade value based on kkb and other factors when give the trade value they valued a 2004 f150 with 97000 miles at $1528. Joshua was great. I purchase a new 2023 f150 xlt sport on 6/13/24. I wanted to treat myself on father day and everything was great. But a few days later I was feeling heavy vibration in my seat, head rest and my pallet. The truck feels like it was idling funny when I'm in park and at a stop light. I called it in and let them know they reply by saying just drive it its been sitting for awhile and fill it up gas. So I said ok I did and still the same thing. I had several people at the dealership feels the same thing I was telling them about. I left a message with the GM both Jim and Grant. I never heard anything back. I spoke with 2 different mechanics. They both felt what I was telling them. But they said it wasn't shooting in error codes. I been out here several times. They had my truck for at least a week. They call me the first time and told me my truck was ready and I came out and it was doing the same thing so I leave it again. They call back few days later and said it ready and still doing the same thing. My daughters be like dad way the truck jumping like that its new right. This experience I'm going through is stressful and depressing for me right now 😪 my first new purchase is honestly not a good one at all I can't even sleep god without thinking about this truck. I just want to get it fix are get a new one. I always wanted a f150 xlt since I can remember all because of the commercials on TV. And now that I have one it the worse experience ever with purchasing a truck for me at the moment. I Feel like crying until this situation is handle. I'm not saying ford's are bad I'm just saying i got a bad brand new vehicle I just want to get another and be happy. The crazy things I haven't had the truck a month yet. Also my mother called the dealership as well that was kinda embarrassing but I am her son and she knows I'm stress out about the whole situation. I recently called service to get a quote on a cluster rebuild on my grand marque At first i was quoted 200.00 to diagnose it.Then the parts department told me 600.00 to repair it.Of course minus the labor to take it in and out.Never got a call back because curiously i asked where the repair facility was so i could look them up.Never got a call bac..I brought the car to a service center in Clearwater.For a total of 600.00 they took the cluster out,UPS it out and reinstalled it.That included the repair.With a 1 year guarantee.Now i know why consumers are leary about dealerships.

I wish I read these reviews first, and I wouldnt have wasted time. I called to make an appointment to get new steel valve stems installed on all 6 tires of my Motorhome. The soonest appointment available was 9 weeks out, because they told me they only work on 2 rv's a week. I made the appointment, but 5 weeks later I decided to find another place so I had my work done there,and canceled the appointment. After this latest trip in my rv I decided to get all new tires installed. I called to make the appointment, but the lady who takes the appointments wasnt sure if they worked on rvs. I told her they did, but still not sure she said she wanted to ask the mechanics. After a few minutes she tells me she cant find either mechanic, so she will have them call me when they return from where ever, but that was last week. After two days and no return call from Flammer Ford I called CTS in Clearwater near the end of the day. I told CTS I needed 7 tires. With 6 being mounted, balanced, and installed, and the 7th tire being the spare. They said they would work up a price and call me the next morning. They opened at 8am, and I got a call before 9am with a price. I will be taking my rv in this week to get my tires changed out. Not sure who is managing over at Flammer Ford, or who is managing the managers, but they are 2 for 2 with me so far in losing business. It would be a good idea for someone to go and clean house with their managers, and probably just get all new ones.
The buying process was very smooth, and Mack was great to work with! Unfortunately the service department is horrible. They replaced the top on my Bronco under warranty with another defective top and refuse to do anything about it.
One of the worst dealership and sales person experiences I've ever experienced. Went in to look at a 2021 Ranger lariat. Lloyd Williams was the sales person to help me. After the first drive we worked some numbers and eventually came to a deal.. or so I thought. After agreeing on the price we began paperwork and I went to the bank to get a cashiers check for the vehicle. Upon my return to the dealership I was told by Lloyd the deal is now off and that the numbers were ran on the wrong truck and we are far away from a number. Either a bait and switch or just plain incompetence from the salesman, either way save yourself the time and go somewhere that won't try and hustle you.
Challenges with communication. Performed oil change when shouldn’t have. Waited two hours just to get my vehicle back.
Service department is clueless. They just try to rip you off every step of the way. The manager is never able to take a phone call, hides behind the desk.
I guess since the upper management promised me they would follow my car through (and didn’t) and doesn’t want to reach out then I’ll just share my experience here. I hope the girl in her 20’s that’s looking for an honest dealership that isn’t going to take advantage sees this review and DOES NOT TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO KARL KLAMMER FORD. I had my car towed (by a company referred to me by Karl Klammer Ford). Mind you this was the day before NYE and New Year’s Day which the service shop is closed. I had not heard any verification that my car had been received at K K Ford so I called well in the operating hours of the service department. The phone was answered by Serena who lacked total professionalism and empathy and kept telling me there was no manager or supervisor there that I could talk to about my vehicle being there. I had to insist I was going to wait to speak with someone that could tell me if my vehicle was there. So like magic I was connected to a supervisor…this supervisor (unfortunately can’t remember his name) was extremely rude saying he found no paperwork therefor my car was not there. After some time I get a call back from this supervisor being very apologetic that my car had been delivered and maybe not properly received. In the process my whole set of keys was also lost. After all is said and done I have a 9 THOUSAND DOLLAR REPAIR done with this dealership. Christian (my service advisor) assured me that I would be called by upper management to talk to me about my experience. For weeks I heard nothing from any management as well as no updates about my vehicle. A day before my vehicle was finished Rob Ramero called me and told me he was just made aware of my situation and promised he would follow my case/car through and once again the ball was dropped. I never heard from him again. When I picked my vehicle up I also had a few hundred dollar invoice for my deductible (which was discussed) and then an express freight charge which I never approved and which Christian said I did. Luckily I was prepared and purchased a great warranty when I bought my car so in the grand scheme of things I’m blessed to only have a bill of a few hundred dollars BUT for this company to drop the ball and lie after I had such a large repair and then not even follow up with them is pretty sick. This is a long but honest review and I hope someone takes the time and reads this and chooses a more professional Ford location.
Took one of work trucks in for service and they broke our key. Tried to get with Rob Bender but he never replied by email or returned our calls management must have trained him because they haven't replaced our key either. This is the 2nd issue with this dealer and both times they've failed in customer service. Ford has really lost its touch with its customers.
Price gouging within the parts department. Ive been here multiple times because its convenient and every time the parts are over 2x the msrp! Go anywhere else or if you can wait a couple days order from Lakeland fords parts website
Extremely unprofessional employees. They will immediately judge you as you walk in. Just because I’m a young adult does not mean these old rude guys can come at me and have the audacity to ask me if I can even finance a car. ( I own a six figure car which is what I used to drive to this dealership). They wouldn’t allow me to even have the car turned on until I sat down and did paperwork for them. So, unless you are old like them, they will not take you seriously. Do not waste your time at this place. How you get treated should not depend on your age. Clearly… this place is still stuck in the past. Shame on you guys.
I’m really trying to make this place my dealership, they just won’t let me. Within the last year the service dept damaged the bumper on my MKZ, which they did repair. However, no one coughed up the damage, which I caught when I walked around the car before I left. Most recently I had an oil change and tire rotation done on my F150 and they did not tighten the lug nuts on one of the wheels. I only noticed this after I pulled out on the highway and was wobbling down the road. Fortunately I was able to pull over and tighten the lug nuts before the wheel fell off. I made it back to the dealership at their direction so they could make sure all the lugs were tight. When I received the follow up call the next day, the caller said I would very likely receive a call from management - crickets. Unreal! Regrettably, Tom Santangelo
I have been coming to this dealership for two years now. My most recent service visit was with Chris, and my Mustang was in need of a new radiator. This was covered under warranty, however, I was offered "recommended services" totaling over $1000. Never before have I been offered random services, and considering the warranty I have, I feel like these services should have been covered. In addition, my front bumper was damaged prior to dropping off for service. The bumper was well secured with zip ties and was not visibly hanging. When I picked my vehicle up, all of the zip ties had been cut, leaving the bumper hanging. This is very dangerous, and I should have been at least advised they left it like that. The service department should be returning vehicles in the condition they came, not worse.
They do not keep track of your vehicle or where it is, they don't return calls, and specifically Christian from mechanics has awful customer service/follow up (aka does not follow back up or return calls).
Two times now, I have been told 'we can't help you today," although I did have an appointment, for one. Karl Flammer ford at one time was, a friendly, facility. A change in personnell has apparently made a vast difference in dealing with the public. I would like to see it return to it's former quality of life.
OK after a bit of a rocky start I met with Jason their sales manager and Grant Flammer their GM. Thank you to Doug G. for setting up this meeting. They are a family owned Dealership that appreciated me keeping my business locally and worked to make things right. Hopefully we are off to a good start on a mutually productive relationship. Since this point the truck has been in 2 times to fix the brakes finally solved 4 times for a vibration in a tire they are replacing it this Thursday. Another trip to fix the alignment and now the computer is showing a blind spot system failure and cross traffic failure. This is a new truck I bought to get rid of an old car with issues and it has more than the car did.
Was either going to purchase a new 2023 F150 or F250 from this dealership. Have already requested info 3 times on their website wanting to know how much they will give me on a trade and how much down payment I need. Also did a credit application. I've already financed through Ford credit years ago had both a Mustang and Explorer. We haven't heard from anyone in weeks so will be driving from Tarpon to Brandon ford instead since they respond immediately and it looks like their prices are quite a bit less.
After taking my vehicle to Flammer Ford on 4 different occasions for the same thing, they eventually gave up and told me they couldn't do anything. But they took $800+ from me in trying to "figure out" what was wrong and fixing NOTHING!
Terrible experience with the service department. We took a Ford explorer in for the brake system. After a week of not hearing anything we called. They said the part would not be in for another week. We picked it up because we needed a vehicle and couldn't wait another week. We were told to bring it back Wednesday 7:30 AM. After getting there we were told it may take overnight. I asked why would they schedule it for today if they couldn't get to it today. He said the lady who called us to say it was in didn't check their availability. However, my husband stated "you called me and said you could get it done today". So, again they rescheduled us to next Tuesday. We stated it will be done next Tuesday or we will take it to Wesley Chapel.
My insurance company did a price comparison of parts and time for the service, they say I was overcharged. I didn’t bother to compare myself, just won’t return.
Not impressed. I was shopping for a new f150 platinum, Salesman can’t answer basic questions about the car. The offer for my trade was 5.5k less than the lowest offer I’ve got from 4 other dealerships, made in the last 7 days. price advertised on line was for 69,989.00, at the dealership price went up to $75000. not included tax. An hour later I bought the exact same car same color at mulinax ford for 5k cheaper.
Total ripoff for repairs
They sold me an older car that had transmission issues and didn’t tell me about it. When I asked how much a new transmission would be I would expect some kind of discount as I bought the car just 5 months before. Not only did I not get a discount, they over priced the transmission. They said a new transmission would cost more than the car smh. Go some where else.
The buying experience was phenomenal but 3-days after purchasing my vehicle I had to put it into the shop with Electronic issues / truck not functioning and not driveable. A “buy back” should have been implemented by the dealership but instead I’ve been dealing with unknown ETA’s from Ford about when and if the vehicle can be fixed. Ultimately I’m a VERY frustrated and disappointed customer.
Your service department sucks. You wanted me to leave my 21 F150 there for 4 days to replace a module for the display screen. Ferman did it on a Saturday afternoon. Do not take your vehicle here, Go to Ferman and ask for David Costello in the service drive.
I don't know what happened at this dealership. I've had great experiences buying cars/trucks here until the last one in June 2021. It was comical how unprepared and clueless they were. I was told to be there at a certain time to test drive the car I was interested in. I even got a reminder call from the salesperson about an hour before to verify I'd be there. He said it would be right up front and ready. I got there and vehicle is NOT there. It had been put out as a loaner 2 days before The service advisors were always professional and competent. Again, what happened?? Our last 3 visits have been ridiculous. Massive confusion, blaming customers for their mistakes. Serious lack of communication with customers. Being charged much more than the quote with no explanation. No calls when a part comes in. Completely incompetent, with the exception of Robyn. She needs a promotion and a raise. Christian just needs to be retrained.
Your service department sucks, a work vehicle that we use everyday has been in your shop for a month because you can't find out why the AC water is dripping in the car instead of out on the floor . An obvious clogged line. I would never recommend your dealership for service or purchase to my worst enemy
Booked a oil change weeks ahead of time and they tell me it's going to take 4 to 5 hours after waiting there for 30 min. What is the point of scheduling weeks out?? I was on my way into the sales office to inquire about another f150 they had but I will now take my business elsewhere.
Takes too long to do a simple oil change I think if I make an appointment at 130 I shouldn’t be waiting till 430 to get the oil changed . I have a free oil change from dealership and still wouldn’t bring it back here anymore. This is my second oil change and been waiting long time.
one of the worst interactions ever. I went to the dealership to look at the Maverick trucks. I was originally going to work with Brad Davis. However, when I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by an elderly gentleman that informed me Brad was out of the office, even though I spoke with Brad a few days before my arrival. The older gentleman asked me what type of Maverick I was looking to order. I informed him I was looking at the XL- Super-crew. He reports that the lower-end models were all "allocated" and did not even try to explain why the truck was made for only a general purpose. My perception of the interaction was, he did not even want to give me the time or day. I could only assume this because I was not dressed in a suit and tie. I am an RN who treats people at their best even when they are at their worst. As I said this is my perception of the interaction but their scores on Yelp speak volumes!
I had my Focus Repaired there less than a year ago they replaced the clutch. With less than 13000 miles on it was having the same issue. Brought it into the shop and first off they wanted to replace the battery before they could attempt to work on it. I went with it knowing that was wrong. And I backed that up when I brought it back to my shop and tested the battery. After a few days there With a new battery and reprogram it they stated that it's within all specs through Ford. After having it back now a week or two it's actually worse than what I brought it in. I Understand that this is an expensive repair and it's a common issuei wth this type of transmission. But you would think they would stand by their product and there repair.
Slow, over 2 hours for an oil change. My advisor was a smart .... that offered me a "free lolly pop" 3 times thinking it would replace bad service and him not knowing how to communicate with customers professionally.

Writing this review on behalf of my parents who had a terrible experience last week. They brought in their Expedition Tuesday the 16th for a couple issues. The car needed extra time for diagnostic work and possible repair so they were told to pick up the vehicle the next day, Wednesday the 17th. Not a problem there, they live very close by. When they went to pick up the car, my dad noticed that the cup holder mats, located in the cup holders in the center console, had gone missing when the service advisor mentioned the keys should be in the vehicle. When my dad brought this up to the advisor, the advisor went to speak with the mechanic who worked on his car and came back saying the mechanic had not touched anything in that area. My dad is particularly aware of the cup holder mats being present prior to taking the car into service at Karl Flammer that Tuesday, as he had taken out some items from the center console and remembers seeing them intact. Moreover, while my mother was waiting for my dad to retrieve the car, an employee by the name of Jason began conversing with her in such a manner that made her extremely uncomfortable, despite her clearly stating she was "waiting for her husband to come by with the vehicle." A clearly defined line exists between being friendly and being overly-flirty, and my mom found Jason to be crossing that line. Finally, yesterday my dad noticed one of the two magazines he had stowed away in the driver's side door pockets for his firearm had gone missing. These items were again accounted for the same day my dad brought the car in for service, as he removed his firearm and made sure both magazines were in the door card's lower storage area. Overall, we are incredibly dissapointed with these occurences. For the past 20 years we have taken several of our cars into service at Karl Flammer Ford and had zero complaints. We were always happy with our experiences there. This has now changed and we will not continue to take our vehicles in for service at this location, much less even consider buying a vehicle here.
This sales team and staff play the Car dealership game of prices and are not military friendly. Going elsewhere to finish a deal that could have been made here 4 miles from my house, but alas I will go where I am treated better.
This time I was not happy to be honest. I scheduled an oil change with tire rotation also a recall that was already taken care of. A part for the front valence under the windshield wipers finally came in but also was already taken care of. The disappointment is I bought this Truck with a keyless entry after market part with no code to use it. This was not a big deal for I was able to use Fordpass to lock unlock and remote start. But now I need an update for my control module at my cost of $200 or a replacement for the keyless entry of $136. I will say the service department tried to get both working and four hours later still nothing. Even though this was part of what I originally Purchased and enjoyed the convenience of having. This seems like a small amount for customer service. Disappointed 2020 Ranger
Honestly liked my salesman, but have quite a few complaints. First, when I test drove the truck I bought there was 5 miles to empty so I didn't get to really drive it. Truck stunk of cigarette smoke as well. I really liked the truck despite that and fell in love when I should have walked. Pretty much got rail roaded. The sales process took all day. Numbers were never really discussed with me. Sat around all day. Truck had not been serviced at all. They claimed to have rotated the tires which clearly never happened. Front tires have a bit of wear They definitely did not change the oil. The leaf springs squeak like crazy and the truck has an intermittent misfire that was noticed on my drive home. This is a 2017 f150 and its just sad amount of money they were asking they couldn't have done a throughout inspection. Would not recommend karl flammer ford
I called and asked the cost of a key for our ford 150 , they said $250..00 .My wife took the truck down and they charged her almost $500.00. What a dishonest place to do business with.
Doug quoted me 28k for a Maverick at 11:13 via email. I called at 11:15. And he said oh no, not at that price….. website and dealer mark ups not on the same page.
I was sold a lemon from this dealer. I know it’s not necessarily their fault, but I would just be careful with these ford products. They also did not replace my transmission, when that’s what needed to be done. Took it to a different ford dealer and they immediately got my transmission replaced in my 2022 ford mustang GT hence new car needed a transmission smh
My repair to window was not performed correctly and the window keeps detaching. They said come back and we will get it fixed right away. I made a 1pm appt to have fixed and it's now 2:36 and they just started fixing it. Terrible customer sevice.
service department needs improvement. truck been in for a week with no updates (unless i call them). when you do call, service department is too busy to take the call and takes hours to call you back.... if they call you back at all. will update review when i finally get my vehicle back.
This review is for the parts department. Do not buy parts from this dealer, their prices are 50 to 100% higher than the other Ford dealer down in Clearwater. Rip off!

Do use the service department. Ordered a part 2 weeks ago, no one called, no one returns calls, find a service department who actually knows about customer service. Part paid for and still never received. Called many times, talked to supervisor and no one can give me a status.
I went in for a check engine light, it was discovered that the sensor was bad. A week later the light returned and took it back in. Some more tests were ran and I was told there was nothing more that could be done because my cold air intake was not enclosed. I also was told my cold air intake was defective. I took my vehicle and engine light was still on. I was not happy. I came home checked all of my hoses, check & tightened my oil cap, and verified all clamps were secure on the cold air intake. The next day the engine light was off. So it was clear the tests were not done right or something if me securing the hoses and checking clamps cures the problem. Obviously a complete check of all the components that could contribute were not checked. I was then sent a reply. I responded by sending an email to the address that was listed asking me to contact them. I sent and email and never got a response back. If I could give zero stars I would. I would not recommend this service department. There are plenty of other Ford service departments around the Palm Harbor area. Go there

I took my 2021 Ford f350 platinum in Wednesday for a full service oil change and tire rotation they had my truck for 9 hrs when I pick my truck up Christian handed me paperwork saying all services were done and the tire rotation was completed as well I walk out to my truck and my tires were never rotated I asked Christian what’s going on and he told me that my stock tires and rims have different tread patterns and you cannot rotate my tires on my truck…. Which does not make sense to me at all because they’re the exact same tires front and rear. Then I get home and there is a puddle of oil underneath my truck. Very disappointed and unhappy with the dealership and the work that was performed on my truck the only time I’m going back to the dealership is to file a complaint. I highly recommend everybody stays clear of this dealership.
If I can give ZERO stars, I absolutely would. I have brought in my partners truck several times to this dealership and each and every single time they provide poor quality service and have missed steps in their inspection process. We bring our truck in because we are expecting excellent service and the best mechanics. These are mechanics that are trained and knowledgeable especially when it comes to Ford vehicles. We have lost all hope in the Ford dealerships. Happy I have a Honda because dealing with ford representatives has been nothing but excuses and a waste of time.
